The Baaks moved from Holland to Scotland in 2000 to manage an estate near Fort William for some Dutch friends.

Jan Jacob became involved in the management of the estates deer population. It is from here that the Great Glen Game story began. By 2003 they had taken over the local butcher and Great Glen Game was born.

Their business has thrived creating much needed employment in the local area.

Their collection consists of Venison Salami with Green peppercorns, Venison Chorizo, Smoked Venison and Venison bresaola.
